How to Hang Your Acrylic Mirror
When hanging a mirror, it is important that you take into account the reflection the mirror will cast from this spot. If hung opposite windows, the mirror will reflect light into the room. Avoid hanging where it will reflect glare from the ceiling or light fixtures. A general rule is to hang the mirror 60”-65” from the floor so it is at eye level when standing. When hanging over a sofa or furniture that is less than 30” tall, use the general rule. When placing above a sideboard or console it can be hung lower so it is at eye level when seated. For taller furniture like bookcases or cabinets, hang the mirror with the bottom 4”-8” above the surface of the furniture, always hang it lower to keep it as close to eye level as possible.
